  • Dinner @ Leonardo's

    So lazy that I almost forgot about these photos. tee hee.

     

    Decided to meet up with the ex boss - Bev weeks ago

    and since he's a pork lover, he recommended Leonardo's for dinner.

    It was my 1st time actually, but Bev praised that the foods are good.

    So let's just give it a try then.

    Lucky us, we managed to get a table without advance booking on a friday night.

    Hm...pretty good 1st impression pleased

     

    Now, let's proceed to the foods:

    What we have here??

    Hearty Italian Pig Tail Minestrone Soup

     

    Chicken Liver & Bacon Pate

    served with spiced orange peel marmalade & grilled herb foccacia crisp

    I especially love this as I've never eaten/tasted something like this before.

    you're supposed to spread on the chicken liver & bacon pate onto

    the foccacia crisp, just like how you spread butter onto your bread.

    Except that the taste is so much different than butter.

    It is rich, creamy with a hint of "meaty" taste.

     

    Couldn't recall the name for this one though.. sorry

    but it was good as well.

    However the following pic would be better in taste!

     

    Grilled Pork Chorizo Sausage!!

    with bacon, potatoes & apple rosti

    This was the main course I ordered. Was so good that Bev kept

    on looking at my main course until the end of his meal. LOL..

     

    we had a loooong chat that evening.

    So many things to update each other and

    we had to summarize everything into a few hours' chat.

  • Sidney Samson on Friday VIPs

    Weeks ago, got to know that Sidney Samson would have his gig

    at Zouk on a Friday night..

    ( Don't know who he is? Well, if you're a frequent party goer, then you might have listened

    before or even sang to "Riverside muthaf*ker"?? Well, that's one of his popular song.

    Else, search it on youtube and you'll get it! winky)

     

    I pondered for quite some time before decided to go.

    Main reason would be because of no kakis..but thanks to sabrina,

    she really determined to go, even if it's only the 2 of us.

    Too bad, wei wei was outstation that nite..bummed

     

    Now let the photos speak on our behalf:

    Initially we each had a jug of long island, and then we continued with

    lots of moet champagne @ VIP upstairs!

    Alan's friend opened a magnum bottle of moet and lotsa bottle of liquor.

    TQ pleased  Now, get ready to fly tonite!

     

    Darren arrived late that night so he missed out all the good stuffs we had.

  • Before the holiday ended..

    It was before the long week of holiday ended, instead of being

    a couch potato on Saturday night, I decided to enjoy it with the friends.

    Don't feel like wasting my last 2 days of holiday away..

    So here we go!

    Party @ Velvet Underground

    It was effing awesome that night! Partied till 4am in the morning.

    It started off with R&B, Hip Hop & Dance, then we dived into the heaven of

    Electro & House music!

    Now someone was superbly tipsy that night..Guess who?? Tee hee..

     

    And..that's how I spent my last Sat night with my friends..

    I still think that I should enjoy my life while I still could. tee hee.

  • Now here's another blog entry before I'm off for a roadtrip later midnight.

    I'm kind of excited and nervous at the same time as it is my first time

    taking such a loooong roadtrip to somewhere. tee hee..

    will blog about it soonish when I'm back to kl laughing

     

    Was browsing thru the net and found out about the promo

    that Jarrod & Rawlins was having for arThursday.

    (only on thursday, in conjunction of Guinness Arthur's Day)

     

    I'm not really a guinness fan but looking at the attractive price promo

    for a pint (RM15 nett) and half pint (RM10 nett), I was pretty interested to give it a try.

    So I invited some of the friends and ended up a full table of us!

     

    Cheers to Arthur!

     

    The taste was not that bad, pretty creamy and slightly bitter than lager and pilsner.

    well, previously i've tasted Guinness before but I disliked it,

    prolly due to the not-so-chilled beer and that was why..

     

    Sab's Guinness Glaze J&R's Premium Beef Burger

    served with fries, salad, cornichons, cheese, saute portobello mushroom,

    caramelized onion relish and coleslaw.

     

    My Guinness infused Spicy Creamy Pasta with bacon & mushroom

    If you noticed, I've been eating a lot of pastas lately,

    i've turned into a carbonara addict! And I'm still loving it! tee hee pleased

     

    We received 2 Arthur's Day T Shirts from a random guy that night
